Alease T. Scott

Alease practices in the areas of insurance coverage and insurance defense. 

About

Alease’s experience includes representing clients in a variety of complex litigation matters in both Louisiana state and federal courts. She has experience in all stages of litigation, including trial and post-trial motion practice and has obtained favorable rulings. Prior to joining the firm, Alease’s practice included oil and gas contamination, asbestos, workers compensation, and product and premise liability defense. 

Earlier in her legal career, Alease was a law clerk at Louisiana’s 38th Judicial District Court and for Division “J” of the Orleans Parish Civil District Court. While in law school, Alease was a research assistant and was a recipient of the Chancellor’s Leadership Award and the Student Bar Association President’s Award. Alease spent the summer after her first year studying abroad at the University College London, at which time she studied Comparative Constitutional Law.
