Kelsey L. Meeks
Kelsey Meeks represents clients in a wide array of disputes, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, environmental and toxic tort litigation, and securities arbitration.
About
Currently, her practice focuses on insurance coverage and bad-faith defense, as well as general commercial disputes.
Kelsey has been recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” and was selected as a New Orleans CityBusiness “Leader in Law” for 2019. She received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Tulane University Law School, where she served as Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review.

Kelsey has been active in the LSBA Community Action Committee since 2015 and is a member of the Leadership LSBA Class of 2019-2020. In 2014, Kelsey founded ‘WEEN DREAM, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that collects used Halloween costumes and distributes them to children with special needs and life-threatening illnesses, as well as kids living in poverty. Under her leadership, ‘WEEN DREAM has given costumes to more than 10,000 kids across America.

In 2021 Kelsey obtained a $1.2 million settlement for a company that lost revenue due to an oil spill.
