Pipes Miles Beckman is pleased to announce that Kristin Beckman, Alexis Joachim, Rachel Kellogg, and Katie Roth have been recognized for their insurance law practices in New Orleans Magazine’s 2025 Top Women in Law.
Inclusion in Top Women in Law is based on peer nominations. Attorneys in the New Orleans area are asked to recommend attorneys other than themselves that they would recommend in a given practice area. The final list includes the attorneys who received the most votes.

Kristin Beckman is a founding member of the firm. She represents clients in high-exposure insurance bad faith and coverage litigation as well as commercial cases with breach of contract, unfair trade practices, products liability, and default issues.
Alexis Joachim has represented insurers in complex insurance coverage disputes for over fifteen years. She has counseled insurers on third-party liability and first-party insurance coverage and litigation issues, including homeowners, automobile (garage, business auto, motor carrier coverage, MCS-90, and uninsured motorist), professional liability, property loss and pollution claims.
Rachel Kellogg represents insurers in matters involving a variety of personal and commercial coverages at both the trial and appellate court level. She represents major insurers in a wide variety of matters involving general liability, directors & officers, employment practices liability, employee benefits liability, automobile and property coverages at both the trial and appellate court levels.
Katie Roth is a commercial litigator with extensive appellate experience in state and federal courts. She represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes. Her experience includes patent and trademark litigation, director and officer liability, unfair trade practices, class actions, contract disputes, construction litigation, and numerous oil and gas cases of all kinds.
